Playing videos on iPad through Apple TV - Stops when iPad sleeps

Hi guys,

I've updated all my iOS devices now and I was just watching a trailer on my iPad through Apple TV when the iPad went off. As soon as it did Apple TV stopped!!

Now this didn't happen in iOS4, has anyone else noticed this and is there a fix or a setting for it somewhere?
