So, picked up my new iPad 12.9 yesterday. Pretty impressed with the beauty of this machine. And, I really want to push the limits of this new chip. I really want to push the horsepower and unlock other use scenarios. But with iOS, I am not sure what will actually stress it. What are others doing? Of course I loaded Photoshop and Lightroom CC. Works well...but there must be other scenarios as I used both of these on my older 10.5 just fine.

I have an app called LumaFusion for video editing, and do quite a bit of social media and even some marketing video work on my iPads. It is amazing how the iPad (all the way back to the Air 2) could handle layered HD video with effects and allow me to apply them without the style of background rendering that FCPx does on my MacBook.

That app, and doing batch processing of photos in Polarr, have always turned my iPads into little space heaters. For me, the speed in edit / renders is why I rarely take my 15” rMBP with me anymore.

Thanks...makes sense. Photo and video editing. Maybe when new adobe tools are released, I will see a difference. Thanks
