Hey, I'm new to Macs (and this forum, obviously) so I hope I'm not missing something obvious / asking something stupid. I'm sure this has been asked before, I've searched but haven't actually found any answers that work.

I got my MacBook on Monday (love it), but on of the (few) problems I've had so far is that I have not been able to find anything that plays WMV files. Flip4Mac (if that is what it is called) won't run on Intel machines; I have downloaded the latest DivX player but to no avail. Surely there must be some way to play WMV files on Mac OS X?

Many thanks in advance :)

Tom

F4M does run on intel macs, just in rosetta. But from what I understand its really slow.

There is a universal binary of F4M coming, but its only in closed beta right now. But, its available if you can find it.

Search for a thread I started about this very thing called "lesser of 2 evils..." There is a link towards the bottom where to get the UB beta.
