I have an iPhone 6+ (8.4) that have playlist I created there and also in iTunes Mac. The Playlist sync between the 2.

I then upgraded my Mini 3 to 8.4, started Apple Music and... the Playlists are not there. I waited a couple hours, thinking it'll take time to sync (it's only 3 PlayLists with 20 songs total), but nothing.

I tried logging in/out from iCloud, restart the Mini 3 and force closed the Music app but to no avail.

Are Playlist can only be synced with 1 device?

It is not possible. You will notice problems also with this one synced device (even if syncing will work on all devices for a while). This is buggy and unfinished software in Alpha stage. And it is buggy in syncing mainly. The best way is to disable Apple Music and iCloud Music Library.

First disable iCloud Music Library on the mini in the setting for music. Then force close the music app, enable iCloud Music Library and open the app.

Hey guys - update: after login/logout multiple times and reset, the Playlist now synced with my Mini 3.

Nothing in the the log files, so not sure what happened there.. :(

OK — Now add some Apple Music Playlists, create your own, rename, etc. — use all your devices to make changes in your Music. Go back here tomorrow :)

So I created a new Playlist called "Hubba Hubba" in the Mini 3, added a couple of Lion Kings soundtrack and saved.

Immediately opened the Music app in my iPhone 6+ and... "Hubba Hubba" showed up, along with the 2 songs.

Looks like it is working. Haven't check iTunes on my MBP since I am away.

Rename to "Hubba Bubba" on iPhone now, and check on iPad (and later on Mac too). ;)

LOL! "Hubba Hubba" already synced and exist in the iPhone, so I renamed it to "Hubba3" in the iPhone. Checked the Mini 3 and it changed automatically to "Hubba3".

I asked my wife to check my MBP and iTunes show "Hubba3" with the 2 music.

So far so good... let's hope it STAY that way. ;)
