Playstation Eye camera work well?

If you have one, why don't you test it and let us know?
If not, why don't you just buy one that for sure works? Unless you're trying to use it for both a PS3 and your Mac... I'm assuming you must have a Mac Pro because every other Mac except the Mini has a iSight built in ?
Would be interesting to see the result. In fact, I'm going to give this a shot using my Xbox's Vision Camera. After all, it is a USB Camera.
Just tried mine with my macbook and skype. Works great! The quality is better than the built in macbook camera, which has produced awesome results for me on iChat. Although the person I was talking to on skype didn't seem to notice a difference in the transmitted quality, which may be a limitation on Skype or bandwidth. The other thing that was improved was the mic quality. The person said I sounded much much clearer. I'm not surprised since the Sony has 4 pickup mics versus versus one for the macbook.
I would imagine the iChat results would be similar, but who knows. I would be happy to try it out sometime over iChat with anyone, but I just noticed something, iChat doesn't seem to have an option to change the camera source like Skype does.

Photobooth shows a permanent grayed out area. iChat, still see no way to change it up in settings. There was a utility called iusbcam, but I just tried installing the demo and it is no longer supported nor works with current ichat.
