On both eSIM and normal Sim!

Unless it is not possible :(

I think those labels are chosen by the carriers themselves.

I know but wouldn't it be cool if you could name them whatever you wanted kinda ? I know it is not really required. Not sure how easy that would be able to build into iOS though.

A quick search shows there are Apps for jailbroken iPhones in the Cydia store which do this. So, it's certainly possible. Could be it's just something they haven't bothered with. Perhaps an agreement with carriers, some industry standard or even some FCC rule. I couldn't say why.

Ok np!

Does the method of using that application on a mac still work ? Just asking before I ask someone if I can use their mac to do this.

The only thing is is it permanent has to be done after ever new iOS update ?

Sorry forgot to same the name of the application if it even still exists or is possible to support with iOS 14.

I don't see anything recent about that program. I doubt it works anymore.

Thank you. Oh well to bad about the backup plan :(

Guess the only for sure way is if Apple adds it in iOS. Which will likely not happen.

To bad there is no shortcuts to turn on and off a line easily without having to go into setting.

The jailbreak tweaks that can change the carrier name to something else (including images) don't discern what carrier you're on. For example, if I use a tweak to change "Xfinity Mobile" to "XMob" and then travel to the UK and start roaming I won't be able to see which service is active…just "XMob".
