I recently got done with my flash website but can't currently afford web hosting (or just too cheap to pay:rolleyes:) so I'm using Google Pages. Comments and suggestions are appreciated, on the website, the photos, or he videos.

PS: There is one photoshop brush that I couldn't find the link for to cite it, if you know what brush set it is that would be awesome.

Great page man, I agree the concept is wonderful and execution as well. A couple things just from a user's aspect:

* Scrolling from side to side, if it could be restricted to only go so fast, the video gets sluggish/blurred. And the video section, allow it to go all the way over instead of pulling back.

* Something else instead of replaying the animation for the TV mouse over?

Other than that, I like :)

Like it although on the computers desktop there is just a greyish link and it confused me briefly... That means normal people would get very confused!

The only other thing i'm not a fan of (in fact it annoys me slightly) is that the video in the videos section called finding myself or something, is a horrendous shade of yellow... As a point for the future, use the white balance to your advantage.

Else... Love the site and the ideas, also the simple user interface.

I'm unsure if copyright would become an issue if used to advertise for work though. You'd have to look into that if you wanted to earn some cash from it.

great concept. though it was a little tough navigating. i kept wanting to go further left or right.

do you really have a milk?

Thanks for all the comments, I'm using your advice to make it better.

and no I don't really own a milk desk. :(

I absolutely love it, to be honest it is the most personally appealing website I have ever visited awesome. It does pan a bit fast but sheer genius the visual links to different areas. Not much of a critique just had to say LOVE IT lol. Can you go work for facebook and try and make that look nicer and work better!!!!!

Great Site!

Looks great, easily navigatable (not even a word), and clean.

I think someone else may have mentioned this, but the scrolling just seems a little off to me. Maybe the middle could be stationary (30 pixels?), move more to the right it will accelerate little by little and same with the left.

I dunno, maybe I'm just weird.

Wow, that is one of the coolest sites I've seen! Awesome work! What program did you use to make this site? I'm only a iwebber, hah.

Perhaps you can provide a scroll bar or some sort? or maybe a navigation menu on top, maybe with a theme of wall paper or something.

I am not normally a flash appeaser, however, I do think this site for the most part is well done. I used to work in flash back in the AS2 days but have since gone into different areas for various reasons.

I do think the addition of a secondary navigation menu would greatly benefit the site.

First off, very nice site. When I first saw "evaluate" and "flash" in the same sentence my first thought was to cringe that another person had epically failed at making a Flash website. I was wrong! (and happy). This is possibly the best implementation of a Flash website I have ever seen. But, like everything, it has a few issues.

First of all, I am viewing the site on a 1024x768 screen. Even though the flash area its self fits (luckily) the area around does not, giving me scroll bars. When I first saw the site it took me a few seconds to figure it out, seeing as I could scroll in the flash AND on the page I thought I was always going to have content clipped, luckily the flash fit. So if you were to make the flash scalable or just make it smaller that would be great.

The only other thing I noticed was on your Flash section the text is very small and black, making it almost impossible to read. This should be very easy to fix.

After that, if you could implement a way to 'lock' to mouse to each area (video, flash, about) so once you have the mouse over the object have the background not scroll anymore until you move your mouse again.

Lastly, you should give your flash section a desk. After clicking on it you are brought to a computer floating in mid air. This isn't a big issue, but I think it would just look even better.

Even though I listed a lot of issues, I'm still very impressed with the site. Good job!

Just thought of this, but something like a "flick" navigation like the iPhone. Or a grab and move, giving more navigation control. That will make this fantastic site even better. Keep up the good work!
