iPod !!Please Evaluate my First Generation iPod 5GB (New and Sealed)

Hello everyone,

This item isn't for sale and I just wanted to know what the current market price for this First Generation Apple iPod 5GB M8697LL/A, that is sealed in its original factory packaging, meaning that it has never ever been removed from the box.

To add on to that, it is a first generation ipod with the physical scrollwheel.

Could you help me valuate the price of it, should it be sold next year, at Christmas? I do have physical possession of it just in case you were wondering.

Yes, I am absolutely, concretely sure, that this is the First Generation iPod that was ever introduced in the history of the world.
BUT it is 1.1, instead of 1.0, with 1.0 being the Mac only version.

Nevertheless, this is 1.1, and it was introduced shortly after 1.0 was released and yes, it has got the nice mechanical scroll wheel.

QFT Maybe not even that long. It's the beginning of a revolution in music and will probably go down in history, so a sealed original will make an absolute mint 30 years later. Don't think you'll get much for it just yet though.

I thought Windows compatibility was introcuced with the 2nd generation in 2002… 10 & 20GB.

The 10 and 20GB versions of the 2G gained the touch wheel.

Jeez, judging by today's storage prices and factoring the iPrice. It should be about $249. $49 for the storage space, $200 for the name. (ba-dum-TIS - drum sound after a joke )
