I'd recommend an aardvark but their work ethics and overall demeanor just isn't acceptable. If they want to live and work THEIR way, then they can live and work in THEIR country >8

U can always chain an ant eater to your iMac

Uh, heh, um yeh refer above, we've talked about that option.

The things have no manners, I could SWEAR they don't even know when they make a bm, they act like nothing's wrong at all when they drop a pound of decroded exoskeletal remains on granma's coffee table or granma herself, and god help you if you expect him to clean it up, talk about GROSS!

It's just not a good idea to employ these things in a non-third-world nation. It's like hiring a hippo to clean the pool, don't get me started, I don't want to define "muck spreading".

Understand your enemy. Find the trail the scout ants are using to get into the house and apply white vinegar to surfaces with a soft cloth or spray bottle. This destroys their scent trail. Wipe the surfaces around your desk with vinegar (keeping clear of the iMac). Feel free to eliminate any scouts and ants already in the house. Spray them with vinegar if you want. Don't feel guilty.

Keep the area around your computer clean. Clean up the crumbs from those pizzas. Vacuum your home. Seal your food. Find the point of entry and block it. Talcum powder placed where the ants are coming in prevents them from entering. If they find their way in through the powder, the powder covers their scent trail so they can't find their way back. Do all this and your iMac will be ant-free.

ok fair enough if you dont like shrews , but they are really cute
you could get some ant eating insects too
for examples, braconid and chalcid wasps attack ants , spiders like the black widow eat ants and other creatures too
or some amphibious creatures like
the horned toad (actually a kind of lizard) is an ant connoisseur,
but the banded armadillo is a prime ant predator so its worth to have a look in getting one
