When I was in the process of updating some apps, it got stuck midway & suddenly all my apps start showing this sign (see image) on the right instead of 'update' or 'open'... The apps are all working fine though, except the ones which got stuck. Now I'm neither able to update nor download anything to my phone now. Also I can't access the AppStore option in the settings. Suggestions please.

I Was having same problem myself but had to do a factory reset. It worked for me

Had the same on ipad2, ios 7.0.2

1) reboot device

2) in settings disable background update of apps, if already disabled then enable and disable

3) reboot device

4) do updates from app store, push update for each app that had failed the update

5) some apps may now show multiple icons and do not start if activated, but can be opened from app store, if so reboot once more

Regards
