PLEASE HELP.. How to upgrade my unlocked 1.0.2 using XP..

I dont have MAC I only have a VISTA or XP machine. how can I do an upgrade for my iphone???

Mine is unlocked but i dont know what they used to unlock this... Its only 1.0.2 (1C28) and the model is MA712 serial 7S7386GNWH8

I want to upgrade it to 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 or if not possible at least 1.1.2

Please help...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can connect your iPhone to iTunes and an update with come up. Click update and it will update your phone to 1.1.4. After the update, go to Ziphone.org and download the new 2.5 version. To make it more simple, go to youtube and search for ziphone or unlocking iPhone. There are plenty of guides that will show you how to you the Ziphone program. I currently did it on my girlfriends iPhone which she updated through iTunes and then I ran the Ziphone 2.5 which supports 1.1.4.

This is just my 2 cents. But please guys, if I forgot something please add in.

OK please guide me on how to do this... You mean Once I upgraded to 1.1.4 from itunes on my XP then my phone will be LOCKED.. Adter that "I WILL JUST GOP TO ZIPHONE.ORG" from my IPHONE and download the 2.5 version and install driectly????

This means - I will connect to my WIFI from iphone, browse, download and direct install - is that correct?? Please advise.. thanks...

Hi, I c hecked the wesite and it was told that DONT UPGRADE THE IPHONE BUT RUN A RESTORE AS NEW...

What does it mean??? I cant upgrade directly but i need to RESTORE FIRST? how will i do that?? is thsi the same as the program "Virginizer". Please help??

Relax, it's easy.

1. Visit ZiPhone and download the app for your version of Windows. Install it and launch it, just to make sure things installed properly, then quit the app.
2. Connect your iPhone to your computer and iTunes should launch. Make sure it has a SIM card in it (i.e., AT&T or T-Mobile).
3. Do a restore and let it update to 1.1.4. This will take awhile, but less than 20 minutes usually. Once done, quit iTunes.
3. Launch ZiPhone again and let it do its thing (5 min or less).

Now you have an iPhone that is unlocked and jailbroken.

Hi THANKS ALOT GUYS... It works.... I feel very happy... i felt like an expert now hehehehe.. thanks a lot.. But my problem now is when someon calls me.. The Caller ID is not workin.. It is always showing the number only.
