hi when unlocking my iPhone to 1.1.1 i needed to use jailbreakme.com and, it installed installer app,

i really want to keep my unlocked iPhone, and loose installer app, before you guys start saying 'WHY?' - i really want a phone which looks apple standard, i realise lots of the 3rd party apps are great, but i am really concerned about my iPhone looking how it did when i got it!!

i would also like iTunes on the Right

thanks

PS temperarily 'hiding' installer app would be even better!!

Install Customize, then use it to set the springboard to 13 icons. Then use rsbt (inside Customize) to arrange the icons the way you want. Any icons past 13 will appear on the 2nd "page" of icons, out of your way.

If the only thing that concerns you is to have iTunes in the right, install rsbt and arrange it the way you like!

Hi, thanks for suggestions

i have installed the latest version of customize and changed the spring board to 13 icons, however (even after a restart) i see 16 apps on the first page (and then any extras on a second page)

i really want to see ONLY APPLE APPS on the first page (with iTunes on the right)

and any addons on a second page

thanks

Install Summerboard, add "skip last row". You will lose the iTunes icon on page 1. Dunno what else will work.

thanks,

do you know if i can just delete installer app via SSH, and then when i want to use it again, just pop it back into the the iPhone via SSH?

thanks

What, I did was hide installer app, and other non apple icons with customize. Before using customize I installed bsd subsystem, and then dock. This makes the icons not visible in the main screen, with itunes store to the right as advertised, and to access the icons you just slide your finger through the sunburst in the bottom right (appears after installing dock) and you get an interface just like leopard.

Thanks, thats a fantastic idea, i have now done that, and it looks great!!

you've made my day :D
