I jaibroke my iPhone 6s+ on 9.3 back when the safari method was still available. I used the Chinese Pangu version. I never had to give any Apple ID burner or otherwise and when I checked under my provisioning profile in iFile it showed my certificate expired in 2017.

Now, since that original jailbreak like many others, I've run into a few issues where the Pangu icon would just open and crash so I've had to delete it a couple times--each time I just plugged my phone into my PC and used the Chinese Pangu helper for widows to replace the icon and was able to then re-jailbreak it etc.. I was required to type in a captcha but was never asked to type in an Appls ID on either occasion--and everything was rejailbroken perfectly each time.

Then tonight I unintentionally hit some button on a tweak (Talus) I just started using that caused the phone to reboot. I had the issue when I tried to reJB using the Pangu app on my phone where it would crashes when I tried to open it. So I connected my phone my computer as I've done every other time this occurred-ran the same (Chinese version) Pangu helper program I always do, but this time after the captcha it required that I enter an Apple ID. I used a burner ID as I've read people have been advised to do when using the English version of the Pangu app. The Chinese Pangu icon was re-added (this time I was asked to trust MY Apple ID (as opposed to the random certificates Id been asked to trust on all previous occasions) but the rejailbreak completely just as it always does and all my tweaks etc are back.

HOWEVER, when I went to check in iFile under var/mobile device/provisioning profiles--there were two profiles listed--the one associated with my Apple ID shows the 7-day certificate whereas the other one shows a 1-year certificate.

The first shows a 1 yr certificate:

The second shows a 7-day certificate I believe:

My questions are:

1. I thought I understood that the Chinese Pangu version always came with the 1-yr certificate? Is there a reason why I would suddenly have been asked for my ID and my most recent provision profile now show a 7 day certificate? I ran the Pangu helper several times--is there something I could have done wrong that I could correct?

2. Does the fact that I still have the provisioning profile with the 1yr certificate mean that my current certificate might not expire in 7 days?/ Is there anything I can do to use that to extend my current certificate if not?

3. When you have one of these 7-Day certificates and it expires, what happens? Is it just like when you reboot on the semi-tethered JB now and all ur tweaks go back in place once you re-JB?

4. All of the guides I've read about embedding/getting the 1 yr certificate after you've already jailbroken pertain to the English version of Pangu which I did not use. Can I follow one of those guides anyway? Will it mess things up since I originally jailbroke with the Chinese version?

Any help or advice would be VERY MUCH appreciated. I've just purchased several tweaks etc. from Cydia and I'd be devastated if I lost my JB/or had to reinstall then all 7 days from now.

Thank you so much for your time in reading this!!

I installed the Chinese pangu app through ifunbox and not the PP helper. It installed with the already signed 1 year license

There is a more updated version, but this is the one I used and it's been working for me
