My iPhone 4S 32GB is on iOS 8.3, and since iOS 8 a lot of my iPhone features ceased to work: iMessage, Bluetooth, Battery life, EVEN THE CAMERA DOESN'T WORK, low performance, slow Wi-Fi.

I need all these without sacrificing function. The iPhone is a SMARTphone and it has to stay this way.

I have no other solution but to rollback to iOS 7 or better, iOS 6.

You might say that it is not possible, but I accept any solution to rollback the iOS. My iPhone is almost bricked and it is driving me nuts. I really need the iPhone for school and stuff etc. since our classroom relies on Facebook.

ANY help is appreciated.

Buddy it can't be done. Major iOS updates change the internal baseband forcibly preventing rollback for security reasons

It's probably time the upgrade that phone

Ugh for God's sake. I know but isn't it possible with iFaith or something?

Also, I don't have the money for a new phone.

Thanks.

just try restoring the phone via itunes and setting it up again from scratch. i cant imagine all those things just randomly stopped working.

"iMessage, Bluetooth, Battery life, EVEN THE CAMERA DOESN'T WORK, low performance, slow Wi-Fi."

Sounds like you have problems with either the data on your phone or the hardware. All these things work just fine on iOS 8.

I suggest restoring as a new device. If that doesn't fix your issues, the problem is with your phone; you may need to get it replaced.

Good luck.

I tried everything, EVERYTHING. Only since iOS 8 these issues appeared. Trust me. And how can I replace it in Romania?

Sounds like you just need to go yell in a pillow.

thanks for your help chap.

Anyway the camera is the weirdest issue, it works but constantly hangs, only since iOS 8.
Bluetooth cannot search devices and cannot pair with nearby devices because "they are too far".
iMessage cannot activate.
Battery life is... oh my god, bad.

I tried just about everything I can do. Everything: restore, reset, delete, undelete, jailbreak, apps, upgrade, didn't I say everything enough?

Anyway I think the logic board was screwed by iOS 8.

Have you checked your battery ... low power making it basically unplugged ... has a way of freaking with electrical things.

Also having finger prints (it is the skin oil) going on inside the motherboard and those printed circuits here and there in the electrical device ... well they destroy the circuits.

This is why when the make these things .. they are made in a 'clean' room.

Spraying your electrical components with 100% alcohol to take away oil and dirt ... it ok to do.

However using 'rubbing alcohol' that is like 82% ... bad bad bad as the rubbing alcohol has oil in it.

All electrical devices get old and wear out ... battery can not hold up to the expansion and compression from being charged (heated up) and discharge (cooled off) now matter how you manufacture them with the materials at hand. They all die just like bugs, bacteria, stars, candles, cancer and living creatures such as you and me. It is in the system of things.

If you want to live a longer life .. don't do stuff to shorten it.
