Do haptics work? Why not just take it to an Apple Store and let them have a look? Is an Apple Store too far from where you live?

I can still touch the screen but tolly black. I tried hard restart and connect to itune restore but still nothings happen.
I but my phone in saudi. Im here now in my country philippines .

Your best bet would be an Apple Store, at this point. You may also speak with customer care if the phone is in warranty, and see if they can help you get a replacement/ repair.

How did it come to be in this condition? My iPhone 8 was given to me in this exact condition (if I understand it right) by the service centre itself, during the course of a battery replacement appointment. I had to struggle a lot for 15 days to get my device replaced.
