Please Help, itunes not syncing some songs and not applying changes to playlists.

I'm not sure if this is to do with itunes or iOS 5, but after the update to 5.0.1 when I try to make changes to playlists or songs, the iPhone seems to not care. It just goes through the sync and there is no change. I would really like some help.

Not sure about playlists but with songs not syncing this is something i've encountered.. All i could do to get the missing songs on my iphone is just keep hitting sync until eventually all the missing songs are picked up.

Not much help but this worked for me.

Yes I was always having the problem for a while. I wanted to do manual syncing but gave that up and now most of the time when I change info in itunes it changes on the phone but occasionally some info wont change like lyric changes etc..

So is this to do with iTunes or my spanking-new iPhone 4s?

Try unsyncing the music, then resyncing.
