please help .Macbook 12 screen problem

i just signed up with you to find a solution from my problem
i have Macbook 12 first generation and suddenly the screen got a problem and no physical damage has happened .

this is picture I've taken by my iphone

how can i know if the problem hardware or software

Sorry. You’ll have to be more specific in explaining what you think the problem is. A photo of a screen displaying several fashion photos is hardly enough to form an opinion of the problem. If we can’t tell what’s broken we can’t help you fix it.

Hard to see any issue, but the bottom left corner appears to be slightly darker (?)
You could take a picture, with the screen mostly one color (white would be more helpful), and more screen in that lower corner.
Or, if that is not really the issue, you should describe what you see, along with a better picture of the problem.

ok i'll try to explain the problem is white color shines like a sun.
here is the real picture of the white fashion ( screenshot)

and please compare it to my mac screen

also if i went to desktop i can see previous page colors on the display

White is, well, white, and naturally will be brighter than the grey background in your first post.
Turn your screen brightness down a little.

I now notice that the one image of a man with clouds in the background, shows some kind of "cross-hatch" effect on that part of the image. Is THAT what you want us to see? It really does help to describe what you see; also, that effect would be MUCH more noticeable if the other images were NOT showing, with just a blank screen.

And, turning the brightness down a notch or two can ALSO help if you have some minor image retention.

Try this:
Open System Preferences, then Accessibility.
Click on the Display tab. You SHOULD see a couple of sliders. One will be Display contrast. Make sure that control is on Normal (completely to the left), and then un-check all the boxes above that slider, if any are checked.

What is the icon in your top menu that looks like a tool box (I am not familiar with that one)

Are you using an external display, or screen sharing, etc? Try disconnecting that external display

i checked the settings and all are fine
the tool above that you are not familiar with is parallels desktop to run windows on mac

i recorded a video for the screen and notice i can see the forum page and all previous colors on the screen

Yes, you have some image retention. It is a hardware issue, some individual LCD panels are more susceptible to that than others. You could replace the clamshell, but you do run the risk of getting a replacement that could be worse. No way to tell without actually replacing the display.

I still wonder why your screen image in your post #4 shows all the screen elements with a "halo" effect. Do you use multiple "spaces", where the screen is configured differently? (I noticed that your video, post #6, shows no such halo, and there are also no file icons visible on that screen space (?)
