Please help me choose a portfolio pic for university! (portraits)

So i need to pick one or maybe two people pictures to use in a portfolio for University. im looking for some help in deciding which 2 are the best, so if you could rank the top 2 pictures and state why, that would help, ALOT

laying on tracks, and #2 look pretty good. They are the same model, so I wouldn't use both. Maybe toss in the boxer one too.

I'm liking 5,6, and 7. I know this is an ongoing debate too, but you really ought to drop the middle of the picture logos, really distracting in trying to evaluate these. I like Scott Kelby's take on it.

Ahhh shoot. I should of known that water mark was gonna show. I have it preset that way for my sports pictures so kids/familia couldn't copy then and the settings transfered over but the water mark takes 10-20 minutes to appear so I didn't catch it right away. Sorry about that.

I like # 1 and 5. they seem to tell more of a story, and the boxer shows your ability to work with lighting.

you should put numbers next to the pictures instead of making us count....

1 is pretty nice and seems to have a story behind it.
2-4 have distracting shadows and the posing is lacking
5 is ok, I think it's a bit boring. still has a bit of a distracting shadow from the hair
6 is ok, I like it better than 5
7 and 8 I think are the best. they show you know how to control light, not just ratios and keeping track of shadows but also the mood and overall "look"
9 is ok, might be more interesting if she had a better pose

Thanks everyone for your input! i cant seem to get the watermark to come off and i dont wanna reupload them so its just gonna have to stay...

but i have chosen to do number 5,7, and 9. (sorry for forgetting to add numbers so you didnt have to count :S )
But thats the Railroad one with her sitting on the track, The one of him sitting in the loading dock, and the boxing one!

The two that immediately stand out are 'sitting on the tracks' and "boxer" because they are more powerful, show great use of space and are generally interesting.
