I currently have a 1.1.4 iPhone that I unlocked in March, I am loving it! However I think I am ready to upgrade to 2.0.2, I just need to know the best method.

I am on a Windows Vista computer (until the new MBP comes out, please hurry!)

Should I use Quickpwn and the bootneuter?

Or should I use winpwn?

I don't have any expirence with either if the applications, I have used Ziphone and iLiberty+.

Please tell me what the best and fastest solution is, thanks!

Fastest is QuickPwn, but I would just use Pwnage since you have to restore your phone anyway to go from 1.x to 2.x.

Thanks!

I have a couple of questions...

Do I need to restore my phone before using WinPwn?

What are the chances of Bricking my phone?

Is it really as easy as just following the tutorial on iClarified?

Is there anything else that I should know before doing this?

Is there any reason to go to 2.0.2 instead of 2.0.1?

What if I want to keep my old SMS messages? can I SSH into my iphone save the .db file and then just replace that same file after restoring my iphone?

Please I need help ASAP, I would like to get this done in the next hour or so. Thanks

Ummm Read around a bit. Search the forums. Look at a few guides.

Why wouldn't you?

It will be put back on. But you can always use Syphone and back it up onto your computer.
