I'm considering selling my G4 MDD Powermac. Ever since I got my Powerbook a year ago I bet I have turned it on four times. I just don't need it anymore. I need a little help trying to determine how much I should ask for it. This is a list straight from the profiler.

PowerMac G4 (Mirror Dual Drive)
Processor: 867 MHz x 2
Memory: 1.25 GB
Bus Speed: 133 MHz
Hard Drive: 120 GB 7200 RPM
Graphics Card: GeForce 4 MX (with support for dual monitors)

DVD Player/CD Burner
Internal Modem 56K
Built-in Ethernet
Two Firewire connections
Two USB Connections
Apple Pro Keyboard
Apple Pro Mouse

Additional items I will be adding in...
D-Link Bluetooth Dongle
Apple Pro Bluetooth Keyboard
Apple Pro Speakers
Both adapters to run dual CRT monitors

Software included...
Mac OSX 10.4
Adobe Photoshop 7.0 with box (education version but it's the same)
Macromedia Studio MX with box (education version but it's the same)
Macromedia Dreamweaver MX with box (education but it's the same)
Macromedia Flash MX with box (education but it's the same)

That's about all I can think of right now. If someone could give me a good estimate I would really appreciate it. I'm thinking about putting it up on Ebay pretty quick or maybe the local paper. Thanks again.
Brad

I would say that you could get $1000 for it assuming you were including legit copies of that software. Perhaps more, but certainly not much less. That's just me, though.

Agreed. You could bring in around $1000 US for that machine and the software/accessories. But, like any good seller, check the current auction-ending prices for similar machines to get a feel for what stuff/accessories gets sold for what amount.

thank you for your estimates... now are there any sites out there for selling you old computer equipment other than ebay?

Why not try macrumors for selling stuff? If not, id suggest finding other apple forums to sell stuff, but if you decide to part the stuff (Software and hardware), im interested in one or two things!
