Ok.
This is my last request.
If I can't get it this time then I am going to give up and pay $100.00 to get my 1.1.3 OTB iPhone unlocked.

Now, I've already done it twice. The second time I did it though, my phone froze a couple days later and I had to hard reset it and it went into recovery mode. Ever since then I have been having problems. I was able to follow the iClarified.com tutorials all the way to Soft Upgrading 1.1.3. It's there that I had the problems. I followed all the instructions to a "T." I did oktoprep and everything. Once I get to the 1.1.3 homescreen, I try to go to Installer to use the GeoHot unlock, but installer crashes right away. Is my memory full? What do I need to do? Please, someone help me out here. I know that it's probably something incredibly simple.

Thanks in advance for any help or any replies.

I just bought it less than a week ago so I am guessing it is the 4.6 BL...

What is the ijailbreak thing? Is that going to be the ENTIRE process or is that just going to solve my installer problem?

Thanks for the quick reply!

Are you on a mac or pc? If you are on a pc i think this would be your best bet: Download this and unzip it. (self-extracting..http://home.no/geezuzz/ZiPhoneGUI.exe ! Just remember, to get it right the first time this is very important, first plug your phone in and make sure itunes is closed, now turn your phone OFF by way of slider, then while your phone is off press the home and power buttons, when the apple logo appears, release the power button but keep the home button pressed, when the "connect to itunes" logo appears (about 15 to 20 secs.) release the home button and click the "free my phone" button in the program, wait awhile and your screen background should turn blue, let the program run, when its done you'll see a check mark, close the program check your phone and you should be jailbroken, activated and unlocked all in 3 mins. You should also have the installer icon already on the springboard. Try it, i did and now i'm on a 1.1.3 iphone with 04.03.13_G baseband and jailbroken!!!! Don't know if you're with at&t or not... If your with at&t no need to unlock it, just uncheck the unlock feature on the left side of the program.. Good luck..

Yeah I tried Zibri's way this morning...but it was before the GUI came out so I might have done something wrong in Terminal. So let me make sure I get this right: My phone needs to be restored to factory settings and 1.1.3 right? Also, do I need to have a specific version of iTunes installed or kill iTunes helper?

Thank you so much for your help. I am gonna give this a shot first thing when I get home from work.

I don't trust those hooligan's at the cell phone store anyways. They won't tell me if they are going to do a hardware unlock or software unlock or give me any specifics. They say it is confidential. It's kind of a shady place I think.

And believe me, by reseting your phones a million times or playing around with queing/unqueing installs, it won't...

Ste (admin of Istaller app) has moved the repository from one site to another. So, you're getting the package download failure notices because most of the files simply AREN'T THERE anymore.

The only thing to do is to change the URL of "Ste Packaging" to http://repo.smxy.org/iphone-apps/ in the Sources section of Installer app.
Or (preferred) simply install Community Sources (can be found in Sources among the installs) it does the same automatically.

If you've installed Community Sources or changed the URL manually, you'll be able to get those installs
