Trying to setup and understand my work email account. When I first receive a message it will show up on my iPhone and I can read the message and attachment. Later when I try to read the message again it says ”This message has not been downloaded from the server”. I can still see the preview and it will still show it has an attachment but can’t view it. It is working fine on my laptop. Shouldn’t I be able to have (or is there a way to have) the same complete message downloaded on both?

Please help email experts. Would like to get it going by in the morning.

Maybe your work's system does not permit keeping emails on the server and so when you download the first time and it's on your iPhone, that will be it?

Or maybe the attachment is the problem....?

Not sure I understand. Doesn't POP download the email to the computer (iPhone) and it is stored on the iPhone and then removed from the servrer? My bosses Crackberry keeps a copy of his emails.

My guess is when you downloaded it to the laptop it as removed fromthe server and not available for the iPhone. Make sure your laptop leaves mail on server. For synced mail though, I recommend IMAP if possible.

I've gotten that too and it seems to be a delay of it showing up due to the connection or the actual opening of the doc. It usually appears in time, though I'm not sure why this happens!

How do I do that? I'm using Outlook 07.

Edit:Foud it under "More Options". Will test and see if it works.
