I am looking at Caterpillars Financial Statement on Reuters.com

In Millions:

Quarter 1 Revenue 12,923

Does 12,923 (In Millions) = $12,923,000,000?

When it says in millions should I just add 6 zeros to what number they give?

That should be right. If it said 1 (in millions) it would be 1 million.

Yeah that's correct. $12.93bn

You can do that if you want, although it makes calculations longer and makes the spreadsheet & presentation messier.
