I’m so bummed. I agreed to some data collection thing from ogury by mistake. I was in a guitar app I have and this thing came up and I thought it was related to the app and I wasn’t really paying attention because I was playing for the kids I work with and then I realized when the next window came up that it was a data collection thing. There is an opt out but it’s asking me for a advertising Id number to do it. I got an app that was supposed to give me my advertising ID but it’s saying I don’t have one. I’m on iOS 14.2 can someone please help me out? I have the guitar app but I had accessed a song through a google search when this happened. I deleted the app and I’m not sure that will help. Thanks.

The developer of ogury? I can’t see that being possible lol
(??)
hmm... Why wouldn't it be possible to contact the developer (or at least the company that is the result of that development?) Seems like you should be able to contact Ogury.com - who should be able, in turn, to contact the software developer, if that is necessary...?

Thanks. That link never opens for me. I’ve tried multiple times too.

I’d love to find a way to get my IDFA. So I can just opt out.

I tried that link too and it didn't open. The one that will open is go to ogury.com and then tap on the Contact Us link at the top of the page. You need to find a way to contact this company to help you get the issue resolved.

(?)
I posted that link after I tested it.
I just tried it again. (it worked) It's a bit slow to open, but works every time I try.
Maybe the Ogury.com main site would work better for you? (that seems to open a bit faster, and gets to the company site just fine for me.
Maybe you are in a different country with access limits of some kind? I am in the US.
If you are as well, then I don't know what might be happening.

Thanks. Yeah I’m in the US as well.

Is there a way of logging off of the app, then sign up under a different user id and password and avoid going down the Ogury rabbit hole again?

I actually deleted the app but I didn’t know if that mattered. I didn’t know if the tracking would happen via that app since that’s where it happened or if because I agreed it I would be tracked on all apps throughout my phone. But I did delete the app.

It could be getting blocked by an adblocker or something. That domain is on one of my DNSBLs and for good reason. Ad tracking.
