Hi guys,

I'm trying to map a domain name to a new URL and blog I'm setting up, but am having major issues with Freeparking.com and Typepad. (So far in my experience with them, freeparking have the worst support known to man...).

Anyway, to map the blog to the URL I have to change or add a CNAME record. (not sure which).

I have no idea what I'm doing here. Attached is the screenshot from the DNS management page. I've substituted the actual domain details for generic ones as the project is still under wraps.

the URL as you can see is: www.my-blog.com

The typepad domain is: my-blog.typepad.com

What wouuld I be supposed to do, change or add? I've managed to add a CNAME record, but although it shows up in the left field, in the main field it doesn't show up....

Thanx in advance

So guys, I managed to fix this with the help of someone who'd done it before, but here's how it should look if anyone else ever gets stuck. Had to add a CNAME field (already done in first photo) then complete two A NAME records. Would never have figured this out given the FAQ and "support" at either sites.
