Hello. In an effort to make my tool bar on my new iMac like the tool bar on my old Mac mini which had folders with drop downs of my favorite searches (see pic of tool bar with folders and drop down on my old Mac mini) I tried to drag a favorites folder on the Home Screen of my new iMac into the tool bar to see if that worked and it’s now gone!! I don’t see the folder in the trash. Where could that folder have gone when I dragged it to the tool bar (See video) and how can I get it back? Thanks!!

Type Command + Shift + B and you'll re-add your bookmarks toolbar.

If you removed a folder, you may need to recreate it from scratch at this point.
Ugh that worked!!! Can you believe I’ve been trying to get that figured out for a while and today of all days I dragged that one folder up and lost is and it was the most important one.

if I still had that in the tool bar on my Mac mini is there a way to get it over?

If not how would I create a new folder in the tool bar and get things into it? Thanks so much.

all set. I got it. Thanks so much.

On your old device in Safari: File > Export Bookmarks and then transfer it via Email, SMS, Airdrop (whatever works) to the new device and do File > Import From.. > Bookmarks HTML File

Otherwise, right click on the toolbar (not on an item in the toolbar!), and you will see a New Folder option.
