My daughter's phone is stucking in the white apple logo screen and then cycles off and this contiues indefinetly until battery dies. I've completed every apple suggestion/reapir suggested, including trying to update and then trying to restore while conected to itunes. The restore process actually downloaded the software to my Iphone 8 Plus but when it says its finished it disconnects and starts the whole rebooting process and turns off all over again.

Please someone help me outside of the whole obvious solutions:
Have tried all of these already! Nothing works
!. Force Reboot iPhone 8/8 Plus
2. Put in dfu mode
3. Charge iPhone in Appropriate Temperature
4. Restore iPhone 8/8 Plus via iTunes
5. Repair iPhone 8 Operating System to Fix Bootloop Issue

Did she drop it? What was she doing when this started?

I'm sorry forgot to mention I don't have money to purchase a new phone(just being honest), its out of warrenty and I still owe over 300 dollars for the phone and really aggravates me that apples solution is throw it in the trash and buy a new one! So was just looking if anyone had any other ideas on this issue. Really appreciate your time!!!!!

Perhaps apple would just charge a small fee if it’s not a difficult solution to repair it?

She was on the phone came back on it and just wouldnt turn on. then said it was turning on the apple sign then turning black and kept repeating itself. she let it just sit there to see what happened and it just turned back on and was working fine. later that night the phone died as in low battery when plugging it in it repeated what it was doing earlier then never turned on

Actually, for something like this (hopefully software related), they will fix it for FREE, even out of warranty.

Go to APPLE STORE now. No need to waste time with internet advice or other solutions.

Not sure why you'd think their response would be to throw it in the trash, that doesn't seem logical. Apple would definitely help you.

Sounds like you are giving up too early. It is your $300 but you should at least take it to an Apple store to see if they can get it running again.

hi

frustrating to be sure.

but this problem is a known issue, and is fixable.

my wife's iPhone 8 also had this problem. twice in the past. but not within the last year and a half.

in both of the cases that it happened to my wife's phone it was caused by something not working right with automatic updates to the operating system.
in her case, it only happened at the time of iOS updates.

as other posters have said, you need to get your phone off the apple logo screen.
the only (easy) way to do this is to go through the simple process:

1 press and quickly release the Volume Up button
2 press and quickly release the Volume Down button
3 then, press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo

if for some reason it doesn't get you back to be able to see your phone's home screen, then you will definitely need to take it in to apple.
i believe that, as other posters have said, even if you don't have a valid warranty now, apple will fix your phone for free, as long as the problem is limited to some kind of known software issue. it won't cost you anything.

the way to avoid this problem with iPhone 8 was established to be: turn off Automatic Updates and limit updating to while on WiFi.

sorry to hear that you needed to go through this. :)
the iPhone 8 is a great phone, and I'm sure your daughter loves it (usually...)

Because anytime it’s out of warranty they’re always willing to help me but charge me 500+ dollars to fix a small issue or tell me I need a new device and there’s nothing they can do. I’m not trying to be cynical I’m just telling you my experience.
[doublepost=1564013779][/doublepost]I just wanted to thank everyone seriously for your time and suggestions I truly appreciate it you won’t believe what actually fixed it I Heated the outside edges with a hairdryer only a couple seconds at a time on low heat setting. I’m assuming maybe there was a little bit of moisture build up, idk it rebooted it self and the hello screen appeared I couldn’t be happier!!!! have a great night everyone!!!!!
