I just got an Iphone... its an older one, 2G I believe with the Model# A1203. Besides using it as a phone I want to use it as an ipod when I am traveling. I have a fairly new griffin itrip that I use in my car and I plugged my iphone in that. It plays music but it continues to stop the music and say something along the lines of the iphone isn't made for this device and it asks me to put it in airplaine mode or not. Im sorry I dont remember exactly what it says but basically it keeps stopping songs on me and either saying that or have me hit a Dismiss button to keep playing a song. Its very annoying and Im hoping it can be fixed. Can anyone help? Thanks!

It is just that the Griffin iTrip is not compatible. There is nothing you can do about it unless you wanted to buy a new iTrip that will work with iPhones.

There is really nothing I can do? Why will it play for a little bit and then stop... and then play some more and pause. The fact that will play at all leads me to believe that some settings can be changed to make it play without the pauses.
