I am just letting everyone know that version 1 of my forum is complete. If you would go to it, and see if you are interested in any of the topics there, we would be ECSTATIC to see you sign up!!!! I am trying my hardest to get the most visitors/traffic to my site possible, and the more links/reviews/content/help I can get will help me out tremendously!

Please help a long time member out and go to:

or, look at my new hosting site (completely seperate)

Your forums are very nicely set up. I don't really like your colour choice, but that'll vary from person to person. The only thing I really don't like is the google adds at the top. If you moved them to the bottom it would be much nicer.

Good job setting them up. :)

I have gotten various feed back from different people saying either they like the forum colors, or they dont. Personally, now I am feeling that it is getting a bit old. So, If I have a little time today, im going to redesign the whole thing....:)

About the ads though:

I have a hard enough time getting people to click on them. I dont think most people understand that when they click on the ads, it generates revenue for the site.... so, the best place to put them is right where the page opens....

 ...just trying to get by...

It looks nice, but you might want to try and get the Safari icon onto a transparent background (gif or png) so it doesn't have the nasty white border.

Also, away from the design, I can't help but feel that you have far too many forums on there. You have about 25 on there, and that is a lot, especially for a fledgling forum. I had a forum a couple of years ago which actually did quite well considering the paucity of members, and I quickly found out that people aren't usually patient enough to click through lots of forums to find stuff. The fewer forums the better - so although I intended to have separate sections for General Discussion, News, and Politics, they all went under "General Discussion". That way, those who went to the top forum also found interesting chat about news and politics which they probably wouldn't have found otherwise.

It also gives the illusion that the place is a lot busier than it is. One forum with ten threads looks a lot busier than ten forums with one thread each. Were I you I'd look at merging some of them together, perhaps having just one entitled "Sport" as a starter?
