I have the first gen phone.. I have used to PWNAGE to unlock/jailbreak ect. installed all that i am suppose to including SSH?? what ever that is, and changed my sliders,,,that is ALL  and all other functions work Great! Pwned perfectly and smooth with no problems!
I have shut down the phone and restarted numerous times also.

I had originally used Ziphone to unlock/break in the past, I have always been able to change the background using any picture i have on the phone. .NOW i am STUCK and it wont change at all.. I have done the following so far:

Re-set the entire phone using the re-set in IPhone....Nothing happened same BG
Deleted the pictures off IPhoto totally so they are not even on the system..Same BG STILL there
Tried to change the BG to one of the APPLE standard BG's in the phone....Nothing changes Same BG..
I am lost and frustrated, Can anyone help me here or give me another suggestion..
The darn Pictures is NOT even on the phone or even in my computer any more??
Thanks for all your help

umm.
The wallpaper on the springboard background can't be changed.
Summertools and Customize used to add something (that we can't use now) to have a layer over the black, but it still wasn't actually changed, theres no way of manually doing so. (unless u can program a script that will work for 2.0)

Ignore this post if u mean the background (because that should be the one that gets changed when u change a picture on the wallpaper settings) on slide to unlock. but most ppl don't care about that.

Wow. Major emergency. Next time use ALL caps if it's an emergency.

If you're on 1.1.4 install Summerboard. If you are on 2.0, you are currently out of luck.

I know it it trivial in the scheme of things.. but was just wondering if anyone knew a fix for this small error that is driving me crazy..Considering the picture is not even on the phone!
thanks
PS i guess i am fortunate that this is all the problems i have!

Have you tried to re-pwn the device?

By that I mean:

1) Virginise the phone (restore it to official apple firmware)
2) Re-create a custom 2.0 firmware with pwnage
3) Use pwnage to reflash your phone again.

That *should* sort everything out for you.

When you first put on 2.0, did you restore a backup of your phone or something? (contacts etc?) Its possible that could have caused a problem, but not really sure to be honest.
