Well i got the 16g 1.1.3 iphone last yesterday and i used 2.4 ziphone to unlock activate and jailbreak from my macbook if that makes a difference. everything so far works fine except for the EDGE. i changed my sidekick plan to T-zones but i still cant get the edge. I have the E icon at the top of my screen but then ill just turn back my house wifi connection. ive turn the wifi off and still no edge. i went to settings>general>network>edge and changed the APN to wap.voicestram.net and left the username and password blank. Still, no edge. Can someone please help me with this?

Also, is there any AIM apps that works with 1.1.3. It doesn't matter if it cost text because i got T-mobiles unlimited text plan if thats easier.

and does the Iphone have the capabilities to send and receive picture text messaging?

Any help would change MY life because im starting to miss my sidekick. hah

there is Apollo that work with 1.1.3 you just have to change one file and there is info if u google it i solved it very quickly.

and there is a mms app but u need to know all the seting for ur network

look on the installer.app

as far as i know the T Zones plan isn't working with the iPhone anymore.

it did at one point after some semi-big customization of config files on the phone but t-mobile smartened up and realized what people were doing.

you'll need a blackberry plan or the unlimited data plan for t-mobile. both are $19.99 a month

There is a T-zones hack App in the Installer. Install the app and everything should work.

Make sure you have total internet. I wasn't working until I upgraded to that.

Hey I just checked my settings and I have wap.voicestream.com not .net. But I'm also using the B.B. plan. I'm going to have to look into the t-zones plan.

there's a few files you need to change, or just add a new source in installer and install the t-zones hack:

i added t-zones friday, installed their hack saturday, and have been surfing on edge ever since.

the only thing that might go wrong is i'm on a 1.1.1

if it doesn't work right away, turn your phone on and off
