mac mini only ever came with usb 2.0 , so you can buy nearly every usb dingle that comes with mac support (usually written on the box )

but why not just fit a airport extreme card

I bought one of these at OtherWorldComputing that gives 802.11n as well as the older g and a. It works fine, but not as nice as an airport card would be. In my case I'm using it with a G5 iMac and the airport cards are unobtainable and even if I found one it wouldn't do 802.11n.

I recently purchased this USB Wireless Adapter for my MacBook Pro and it works pretty well: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Edimax/EW7718UN/

I purchased it because my MacBook Pro was constantly dropping connection. My guess is the logic board is being screwwy or the antenna is knocked loose, but I wasn't about to pay $300 for a repair and only get another Wireless G signal.

The software is a pain, as I had to go searching around for an app that actually made the damn thing connect when it wakes up from sleep because the software it comes with doesn't even do that. I found a menu bar app that does exactly that as well as a preference pane(both found on the same link posted after this) so you can completely do away with their own software: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=168984

It's also white to match other Apple products, if you are as OCD as I am about how your computer looks.

Oh, and your Mini's USB ports are all 2.0, not 1.0. There was never a Mini with 1.0.
