Please someone with Tmobile unlocked help me?

Can i buy an iphone, unlock it, put in my sim card that has a plan with unlim texts, 1000 minutes, and the 9.99 internet plan (It says unlimited?) and use it fine on an iphone?

A tutorial would be nice on how to set it up.

This is almost exactly what i have. I have a 16gb iphone 3G on tmobile with 1000 minutes, 400 texts, and the 9.99 unlimited data plan. I am not 100% sure that the data plan is rock solid at the moment, i just set all this up in the last couple days. I know that i am subscribed for the 9.99 TMobile Shadow unlimited data plan and that it works on my phone with a certain APN address. Whether it has a limit or anything else I DO NOT KNOW.

1. Jailbreak phone
2. unlock using cydia and yellowsn0w
3. If you already have the data plan then all you should have to do is go to Settings>General>Network>Cellular>APN and input internet2.voicestream.com with a blank user name and black password

For a more detailed account of the process you just need to research like i did.
