Hi guys,

I was hoping to put together some benchmarks for an imac Mini 2.0, 2.26 and MB 2.0 and 2.4 in various configurations in the next few days.

I am going to benchmark a new mini I received today with the following configurations. Only criteria is that all updates have been performed through "software update"

2.26 1GB Ram 5400 HD
2.26 2GB Ram 5400 HD
2.26 4GB RAM 5400 HD
2.26 2GB RAM 7200 HD
2.26 4GB RAM 7200 HD
2.26 1GB RAM 7200 HD

I plan to Run
Geekbench 2.1.2
http://www.primatelabs.ca/geekbench/

cinebench 10
http://www.maxon.net/pages/download/cinebench_e.html

xbench 1.3
http://www.xbench.com/

I also got access to a MB 2.0 2GB 5400 HD and a MB 2.4 2GB 5400 HD, and and a 1.8 2GB 128 SSD MBA.

If anyone has the following configurations, could you please post your benchmarks using Cinebench, xbench and geekbench

Mini

2.0 1GB Ram 5400 HD
2.0 2GB Ram 5400 HD
2.0 4GB RAM 5400 HD
2.0 2GB RAM 7200 HD
2.0 4GB RAM 7200 HD
2.0 1GB RAM 7200 HD

MB
2.0 4GB Ram 5400 HD
2.0 2GB Ram 7200 HD
2.0 4GB Ram 7200 HD
2.4 4GB Ram 5400 HD
2.4 2GB Ram 7200 HD
2.4 4GB Ram 7200 HD

I know you can dig all these up from the internet, but I was hoping to compile these results from Forum members. Hopefully these results will also give an indication to people deciding between a mini and MB in various configurations. Might also include the entry imacs 20" and 24" since they use the 9400 to see what difference the CPU increase makes.

Nailed it :)

Though these results are not compiled in one place ;)

Sadly it will take a damn long time to go through all these results to find the exact configurations, running 10.5.6 and compile it. Especially as alot of these results just say "mini" or "MB". If people wish to contribute then great, if not I will find what is missing.
