Hi,

So bored with this f*** macbook pro (13" 2015 8go 256) !!!!

So i start to consider that mine is faulty as nobody seems to complain about simple things that a so expensive laptop should do without issue.

So my last try is to read a stupid 434Ko PDF and to scroll down and up. Mine is choppy as hell !!!

So could you report if you have the same macbook pro running Yosemite 10.10.4, is it smooth or not ??
I will even upload a video to show but i'm so disappointed....

Get Adobe Reader.
Make it your default for documents of type .pdf
Once you've gone through Adobe's odious prefs setup procedure you'll be much happier.

I am not booted into Yosemite at the moment (running 10.8.5 right now), but I opened that pdf in Safari 6.2.7.
It loads almost instantly and scrolls freely.

Thanks for the reports, I've just been to give a try in a shop on the same macbook pro and i find it to be the same...

I uploaded a video on youtube:

As for acrobat reader, once installed, i think it's even worse :))))

Ah, yes, the AdobePDFViewer internet plugin is always pleasant to use
I think this is not so much about the size of the file, but how the system handles the Adobe plugin...

That PDF scrolls smoothly for me, but do you get better performance if you download the PDF file first, then view it in your Preview app?

What i can do is to read the pdf in safari, then open up in preview. Not smooth as it should be. Even my iphone5 is smoother.
