I originally posted this in an older thread but thought I might get more attention in a new thread (and partly due to desperation). I've been searching and trying different things trying to avoid doing a "Restore".

I had to reset my Network Settings and now I'm stuck on the "Apple Logo" on the boot screen. I really want to try and avoid a Restore because just 4 hours ago I finally got my phone EXACTLY how I wanted it after JailBreaking. A lot of modding by hand, LockInfo, Plugins, Wallpapers, Ringtones, and general tweaking. I'm not even sure if I can remember everything I've done as all the tweaking has taken almost a month.

How do you SSH into a phone stuck on the boot screen?

Can anybody help me? I've done a few searches and tried holding both buttons for 25 seconds as well as multiple reboot tries.

I'm currently on v3.1.2 (3GS 16GB) and jailbroken and unlocked with blackra1n RC3 and blacksn0w.

Thanks everybody...

Edit: After multiple reboots and attempted fixes by trying to connect via SSH and iPhoneBrowser (none of which worked), my iPhone is now stuck on the "Connect to iTunes USB" screen. Still searching...

Edit #2: Back to being stuck on the "Apple Logo" boot screen. :(

Edit #3: I gave up and did a complete "Restore". Thanks jmann

TBH I have never been able to successfully access the phone via SSH while it is on the apple logo, I know it sucks, but I would honestly just do a restore and do everything over again. Next time, remember to use a program like Rock App and it will backup all of your installed cydia packages on their servers so that you can easily reinstall everything and you don't have to remember what you downloaded. After that you would easily be able to reapply all of your custom stuff. :)
