Plex for Mac. Plex for ATV2

I downloaded and installed Plex for Mac last night. Then imported my movie and music collections. Then played around a bit with in. Installed a crap load of other media plugins.

Question...and maybe I should have asked this before installing....

1) Can Plex stream content to the ATV? I'm know there is a Plex beta for the ATV2...but what does Plex for Mac do? Just manage content for viewing on the Mac?

I will be JB'ing my ATV2 today and I plan on install Plex for ATV2. I assume Plex for ATV2 requires and feeds off of Plex for Mac?

yes it requires it. it is the media server that has to run, like itunes has to run to play music und movies to "normal" way.
