Why wont the scrappers work  I have went step by step in their guide 3 times now

Also, why can't I get the movies to show up in the movie section and tv shows to show up in there section

I can only guess that since scrapers are highly dependent on the structure of the site, if the owners of the site change their architecture at all, it will break the scarpers.

As for your movies and TV shows, when you add the directories to your library, are you setting the type and meta data source properly?

For me, Plex is just amazing. I'm fairly new to it, so my love affair with it may fade over time, but it's outstanding. Nothing I found on the PC (eg. My Movies) could touch this.

I dunno I guess the guide I read just wasnt that great. Is there any video I can watch describing the process? I mean I added the sources, each movie is in its own folder and they are named correctly as far as I know. I mean I dunno I just want it to work and its driving me nuts. I have been working on this for over 6 hours now and I haven't made a single bit of progress

I have IMDB seleceted as the scraper and I copy and pasted the names of all my movies and that is the name of the folder as well as the file and nothing at all. And nothing is showing up under Movies or TV shows, it is all under Videos

I followed the instructions in the video on this page under the heading "Alexis"

http://wiki.plexapp.com/index.php/Screencasts

It seemed like there were a couple of key steps there that if you miss, might cause you troubles... but the video is very clear.

Good luck!

I have had some trouble with the scrapers before and some of it has been due to their sites simply being down. However, if you're experiencing chronic problems then you might want to look at the "use folder names for lookup" and "scan recursively" settings in the select source menu. Try turning these on/off and see if your scrapers respond.

Here are some screenshots of a typical (mine) media folder setup.

Your TV shows should look like

.TV shows
..name of show
...Season #
....showname s01e04 (etc etc.)
