Ok iv tried installing plex 6 times now each time i can see everything on my computer play music etc but movies just will not play im on 4.4.4 now is it incompatible if not can you link me to source you have used please

you need to download and install the latest beta client beta 4 i think on your atv

you'll probably have a better shot at getting an answer in the plex forums than here.

do the movies you're trying to play have dolby digital sound?

i fixed this problem on mine recently, think it was changing the dolby digital capable option in the main appleTV settings.
