What plug do I need for the new iPad mini 7?

As it doesn’t come with one I just used the 20w apple plug. But the braided cable that came with it doesn’t work, it did first time I charged it but since then it won’t even turn green to indicate charging. The apple cable won’t even charge a power bank either so somethings gone wrong with the cable.

I’ve got an small anker cable which has successfully charged the iPad since so pretty sure it’s not the iPad

It does come with an adapter though...

Not in Europe, we just get the USB-C cable, no power supply in the box.

To the original poster, any standard 20W USB-C PD power adaptor should be plenty for charging an iPad mini 7. Anker, U-Green et al all make suitable adaptors. I charge mine from a mixture of different power supplies using a mixture of different leads (including USB-A to USB-C leads using 12W USB power supplies).

I assume the Apple 20w is ok, I've got another cable now and was concerned I was using the wrong plug for it to stop working after one charge
