My iPhone won’t backup it keeps saying not enough storage. I’ve only used 3.5 gbs. I’ve been having issues with this ever since I downgraded from 11.4 to 11.3.1, I’m now on 12.1 beta.

Whats your phone storage and how much are you trying to back up? If youre trying to back up 32GB on 5GB that wont be possible :p spend that $1 a month and get 50GB of icloud storage to avoid this in the future. Otherwise, click on manage storage and find things to delete from your icloud. Or there is always the option of backing up through iTunes on your computer.

Yeah I have under 5gb worth of stuff. I honestly don’t even care about iCloud I just get tired of getting the notifications from it. Saying your iPhone hasn’t been backed up in 6 weeks.

So why don't you back it up to you computer and forget about iCloud?

How much storage are you taking up on your phones local storage?

Well thats the amount of stuff you have in your icloud. How much stuff do you have on your phone itself?

Settings > general > iPhone Storage. Thats how much it is trying to compress and back up.

If you dont want the backup popup, you may need to just turn off icloud backup altogether:
Go to Settings > (your apple ID) > icloud > iCloud Backup and turn it off.

So it’s trying to save almost 24gb?
