did this happen while trying to jailbreak?

force it into DFU mode (google DFU mode to see how, I'm not too good at explaining it), and try updating it that way (if it isn't already in DFU mode, I don't remember if that screen is DFU mode)

if you keep getting the error, try updating iTunes, trying a different USB port, trying a USB hub, or trying a different computer entirely

Thank you sooooooooooo much .. you make my day :)

Moi un Mouton
finally it works after 4 days with several trials .... thank you thank you thank you .. i can't believe it when i saw cydia ..
i can't find installer icon .. but i think i will get it from cydia.
have a great day
:)

is it ok to make new update .. i am afraid if any update will lock iphone again

An update might lock the phone again. The rule is, when Apple release an update, check this forum, especially the iphone hacks section, and read the Dev Team blog: http://blog.iphone-dev.org/

That way, you'll find out when it's safe to update, and how to keep the unlock. Until it's safe, refuse the update in iTunes.

To reassure you, the 2G will ALWAYS be unlockable, as it has a hardware "bug" that they can't fix.

Thank you for letting me know about that

An update might lock the phone again.
i have something strange here .. i start to use cydia and try to add this cydia.hackulo.us
then i went to selection and used hackulo.us .. download every thing except these (winulous - edge to 3G - crackulous)
i am just try telling u what exactly happened
i download installous
i found it on desktop
i tried to add applications from itunes to iphone .. not working it appears as error .. any way
the problem is
i turned off iphone and restarted it .. it is not open .. it keeps restarting without opening any .. i have 1 hour with that issue .. no way to force it quit.
i don't know what to do ..
should i do the same steps u told me before .. or click restore to original setting in itunes menu ?
p.s itunes can recognize iphone simply .

Are u there?
