I've just bought a new PowerMac G5 2G-Dual last week. It seems that some strong electricity is leaking out to the metal body casing.
I plugged my iPod nano to the front USB port and electricity is leaking from the iPod's metal part of the body too!!! What the hell???
There seem to be a lot of cases reported about electric shocks on PowerBooks, but I had no luck on any info on desktop Macs.
Has anybody exprienced the same kind of issues?
I'd like to fix it on my own if I can. I haven't called AppleCare yet, and I want to avoid shipping it back to Apple... well maybe I just should...
Does anybody have good ideas to fix the problem on my own?
FYI: The electricity leakage seem to stay as long as I'm touching it.
FYI2: Apple's Knowledgebase has nothing related to this.
Your feedbacks will be greatly appriciated!
Anybody's welcome to come down to my place and touch it (as long as you can afford to come to my house in Tokyo )
