I bought this memory @Best Buy and the Geek Squad guy assured me it would work:

PNY - Optima 2-Pack 4GB PC3-10666 DDR3 SoDIMM Laptop Memory Kit
Sku# 4816107

I went home and installed it and got the three quick beeps when booting (memory not recognized error). Tried several times and same result. Reinstalled original memory and everything is fine.

Did I have the wrong type or is something wrong with my Mini? When I search for 1067 memory I get linked back to 1066/1333 modules?

Thanks : ))

Maybe another brand?

I was thinking of trying Kingston or Crucial?

The one I bought was the last in stock, would require a special order but I think I'll try that again.

Thanks : ))

that ram works more often then not. I have had more trouble with the 2010 mini and 2 x 4gb sticks of ram of any company. that mini is very picky.

I blame the mini more then the ram as I have done 40 to 50 of them and they reject just about every make and model of ram more then 15 % of the time. All other minis have had a better ram acceptance rate.

While I am just one person I have put ram into 200 minis since 2006.

Return the ram ask for a refund. try finding some samsung hard to find but good. jr.com is sold out of it maybe amazon.com has some
