I need to create a booklet that should be more or less pocket size (should fit in a shirt pocket). Is there a standard size for that established that I can use or do I just make up a size and have the printing company crop it. Just trying to make it as easy as possible. Thanks.

A6 might be a little big. A7 or B7 might be closer to what you want.

But the best thing to do is choose the ideal size you want and then discuss it with your printer because certain sizes can be more economical than others depending on how many pages they can get from the sheet and which sheet they use depending on the press.

Imagine a big sheet of pastry, and you with a cookie-cutter. That's the analogy to think of. Smaller cookies but more of them...
