Just a quick survey of what device you’re currently using as your main phone. And in keeping with @epicrayban thread, a single sentence for why the current.

Current: iPhone X - design, pocketability, Apple Watch, and iMessage

Previous: Pixel 2 XL

Current: iPhone 7+, because I got a good deal with a free bluetooth speaker I wanted and have been too lazy to change the phone since then even though iOS text input literally kills me every day

Previous: iPhone 6, after a longish run of Android phones and was curious about how iOS had become at the time

Daily driver: iPhone 8, regular size because my backup S8+ is borderline usable with a wallet case I prefer nowadays and the 8 Plus would be quite a deal wider. Skipped the X for now as for that price I’d rather wait for the refined gen 2 FaceID and enjoy my trusty old TouchID in the meantime.

Backup: Galaxy S8+, which I got for quite a deal and I also like quite a bit, but as the Gear S3 wasn’t still quite an Apple Watch experience and Samsung’s updates are still somewhat unpredictable, this one sits in the backup role.

Sedondary phone: iPhone 7S - just because.

1 phone,cant afford a second one.
Iphone 8 64gb. I like the size and form factor and the bezels.

Next phone could be a samsung if it has a flat screen.

If the s9 had a flar screen,i would have had that one.

iPhone x : Privacy, just works (but stutters and freezes like a 2011 Samsung phone), imessage, no curved edges, best watch ecosystem/apple watch, hate the small text and can't wait for the xs plus.

Pixel 2XL. Like @lowendlinux I'm on Project Fi, so my options are limited. Unlike him/her, I was ready to replace my Nexus 6P (it's still around with my free data-only SIM in it but it's just sitting at home) so I chose the 2 XL and have been happy with it.

iPhone 8 Plus - because my iPhone 6 was getting a bit long in my tooth and I wanted to play with the dual cam setup plus you get the latest processor in cheaper price point than the X and convenience of Touch ID.

I had a 128GB Pixel but I left it with my kid before I came back from Europe last August. I'll get another phone eventually but for right now this one works and there's nothing out there I can't live without.

Current: Note 8. Love the customization and the way certain features operate. Camera and screen are excellent and so many features which I do not need.

Future: Thinking of going to an 8 Plus just because of simplicity, the apple watch, apple music, and a Mac. I do not use many of apples featurea but I do like how their devices function and I like the iTunes & App store.
