Got one coming in the mail on Monday. My current phone is dying and the 12/512GB variant of the X6 Pro was on sale, too good to refuse. A bit difficult coming to terms with my new £300 phone having 1.5x the RAM and double the storage of my M1 Air.

Will post some thoughts later. Main reason for choosing this was the cheap price, 1.5k screen, slim bezels, strong SoC, 3 years software/4 years security

Been using it for a few days now. The value for money is absolutely insane: £300 for 512/12GB, UFS4.0, Dimensity 8300U, 1.5k screen, 120Hz, 67W charger, case, and screen protector included, 3 years of android updates/4 years security.

Positives:

Going between apps and navigating the OS is blazingly fast compared to my old phone, a Redmi Note 10 Pro. That phone now feels frustratingly slow.

Solid FPS at max settings in any game.

In display finger print reader has been reliable and more convenient than the side placed reader on the Redmi.

Brightness in sunlight is much better, things are easily visible.

I read the cameras are terrible, but I've found them to be good. I'm not a big fan of how current flagship phones process images anyway and I often find cheaper phones produce softer, more pleasing images.

Negatives:

HyperOS forces you to use the iOS style notification shade. Swipe down from left is notifications, right is controls. On my old phone it was much better as they were combined.

Phone gets warmer than my Redmi, and battery life is only slightly better than my Redmi. However I've not had a phone with a high performance SoC in a long time, so perhaps this is expected. My Redmi would be going around the OS and switching between apps with a temp of low 30s, the Poco is more like mid to upper 30s. SoT estimate according to accubattery is just over 10h - Perhaps I've been spoiled by the Redmi's power sipping SD 732G.

UI and text scaling is a bit off. Perhaps due to the 1220p screen? Seems like on some apps the UI elements are huge while text is small. Text is too small compared to my 1080p Redmi, but going into dev options and reducing screen width to 384px helped.

In short, if it has good band support in your country, I would recommend it. Or wait a month for the Poco F6 which will be slightly better in but more expensive.
