iPhone Podcast app not downloading

i can stream but downloads will appear to complete before failing. Clicking on retry is futile.

For every podcast.

iPhone 6 plus on 9.0.2

Anyone else?

Loce podcasts but the app is so bad. The design, the reliability, the speed, and the features. Piss poor compared to the quality I expect of Apple (and that I pay for.)

is there a fix?

I'm using an iPhone 5 on 9.0.2 and Podcasts have been downloading just fine. However I have mine setup to only download while on wifi. Settings -> Podcasts -> Only Download on Wi-Fi might be something to check.
