iPod Podcast artwork doesn't download on iTunes, but does through iPhone/iPod, what gives?

I listen to the NY Times Front Page podcast (it's great if you have not checked it out). Recently, I downloaded the same podcast directly to my iPhone instead of through iTunes and the album artwork downloaded correctly, however I have never been able to get this to happen in iTunes. (by the way, this is not limited to the NY Times podcast).

Anyone know how to fix this or add the album artwork somehow?

yes two totally different questions. this one is about podcasts not downloading the artwork via iTunes directly, the other one is about album artwork I have from lectures that were sent to me personally. So while both about album artwork, they are different issues entirely as the latter situation in the link there is actually artwork present in my itunes sometimes and other imes not, where as the podcast isssue there is never artwork in my itunes. Thanks

Hey Aniej, did you ever find an answer to this question?

I've been trying to figure this out forever, but have never found a solution. About half my podcasts have artwork on the episodes, and half don't, but all of them do if I download directly through my iPhone.
