Hi all, i download everyday radio podcasts from LA and I am on the other side of the world, exact ally. What i don't understand is why some of the shows take just minutes to download on average, and some take hours, and they are all approximately the same size/duration. for example the KFIAM John and Ken show takes 4 minutes or so and then something like the Drudge show, which is smaller in size will take up to an hour. the shows are all coming around the same time and the difference has been consistent for a long time now, many months. Does it all have to do with the server used by the radio stations? thanks!!!

None of the podcasts are hosted by apple. Some podcasts will be hosted with good connections, some podcasts with bad connections.

A doll by any other name...

seems like apple should do something about making podcasters supply a minimum service level, it makes itunes look bad from this part of the world. ya can't download songs, ya can't view video, and even the podcasts are slow. i guess this is just another euro-american-centric toy making bundles of money but not providing service to developing parts of the world...
